Order of the Arrow Troop Representative Program

Ceremonies Team:

Remember all of those cool ceremonies from the Ordeal and Brotherhood weekends? Ever wanted to be a part of that? Konepaka Ketiwa's ceremonies team performs all Order of the Arrow ceremonies at various events, including, but not limited to, Fellowship weekends, Winter Dinners, Section Conclaves, and many more. Participants will be given the lines ahead of time to memorize and will be provided with appropriate regalia. You can also join and help set up and tear down ceremony sites as needed.

Elections Team:

The elections team is the face of the OA. It is the first impression that younger scouts have of the OA, and our goal is to make sure elections are conducted in all troops in the Illowa Council. Election team members will be trained and then will be able to go to help in elections! Elections occur during the months of January, February, and March typically.

Elangomat Team:

The Elangomat Team is the group of Arrowmen who will guide candidates through the Ordeal experience. We act as their first impression of an OA event and how it is run. While we may not have enjoyed our induction, the experience is much more meaningful to be an elangomat. We work in silence with them, eat little with them, sleep with them. We guide them to ceremony and work sites. We train before each fellowship, which are in August and May.
